Where is the sugar?

We tried this recipe and it basically failed. It appears the dough didn’t rise properly…. perhaps because of the absence of sugar?

    1. I am making my first chicken in my outdoor oven tomorrow….any tips?? What kind of pan do I put it in? How long will it take at 5-600 degrees?
      Any info would be appreciated. Also plan to do my
      Thanksgiving Turkey in the oven….got a great recipe from aikitarik on this website…but what kind
      of pan do I use–possible to use those foil pans???
      Maybe if I double them??
