Forno Bravo DC is headed by Dave Konstantin, a pizza enthusiast, pizza oven builder and professional landscape lighting designer. Dave represents Forno Bravo in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.
After years of fine-tuning his pizza making and dough handling techniques using a conventional oven, David decided it was time to get serious abouth his love of pizza. He contacted Forno Bravo about installing one of our ovens and helping other wood-fired oven enthusiasts in the Washington DC area. Today, he has taken his pizza making to the next level, and along the way he has gained valuable expertise on pizza oven installation, management and wood-fired cooking.
A Connecticut native, Dave has lived in Northern Virginia since 1980, having graduated from the University of Connecticut and The American University. He's an active and enthusiastic amateur chef who loves to travel in Italy, where he still has family.
