Pizza Oven Shipping Overview

Apr 27, 2023Posted by Forno Bravo

Order – ship – receive. It should be that simple of a process. But whether you are moving an oven that weighs 600 lbs or 6000 lbs, there are always some special elements to consider. In this animated video and associated resource links, we will go through all of the shipping and receiving steps to expect, so you can plan your installation with confidence.

Find Your Oven’s Weight and Recommended Fork Lift Size

While all of our ovens are delivered curbside, you will still need to move your oven from the delivery point to its final destination. What tools you need will depend on the size and model of your oven, where you will be installing it (restaurant, backyard, etc,) and the degree of easy access to this space. For example, a small oven may require an engine hoist, a small kit may just require a few friends, but a large oven with no backyard access may need a crane to lift the oven over the house! If there is access to the installation space, most people choose to use a forklift.

Use this handy chart, to determine your oven’s ship weight, and see what size forklift size is needed.  SEE SHIPPING CHART HERE

Receiving or Installation Questions

At Forno Bravo, we believe in over-communicating whenever possible. Our sales and shipping teams at the factory will make frequent contact with you through email, as your oven is finished and the delivery time gets close. However, we understand this is a big purchase, often with lots of moving parts,  and you may want to talk through the process in more detail. If you have any additional questions, feel free to call the team at 1.800.407.5119, or email them at sales@fornobravo.com for a quick response.

You can also use our TECHNICAL SUPPORT FORM if you have any challenges with the oven’s condition upon delivery, or any other issues.
