Peter’s Blog: New York Pan Pizza Adventure
Hi Everyone,
I just got back from NYC where Pizza Quest Guest Columnist (and great guy), Scott Wiener, founder of New York Pizza Tours, orchestrated an amazing all day pizza crawl in search of killer “pan pizzas.” I will explain and post more about it right here within the next day or two, as soon as I can upload my photos and organize my thoughts.
I was also in NYC for the annual IACP Conference (International Association of Culinary Professionals), which was also an amazing food extravaganza worthy of its own post, so I will follow up with that as well later.
Lots to share with you on both the pizza and culinary front, but first I have to unpack and catch some zzzz’z. More coming very soon, I promise, so please check back in the next day or two, especially if you want to hear about the magnificent “Doughdici” pizza from Sofia, which our friend Arthur Bovino wrote about in the NY Times a few months ago (not to mention our visit to L&B Spumoni Garden. Emmy Squared, and other stops — it was a very full day!). As a teaser for that post, take a peek at Arthur’s article here: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/02/dining/pizza-expensive-sofia-shoppe-nyc.html
More from me soon….
Peter
