New Webisode: Dan Karlsen on Pairing Chardonnay with Food
Here we are, one final time, with master wine maker Dan Karlsen, of Talbott Vineyards, as we complete our impromptu crash course webisode series on wine appreciation. If you haven’t watched the previous segments with Dan, please go check them all out in the Webisode section. Whether you are already a serious wine expert or a novice, I guarantee that the info provided in this series by Dan will allow you to hold your own with anyone. And, as you will soon learn, you’ll even be able to answer the questions, “Why do we swirl wine in the glass before drinking it?” and, “Why does food taste different when we have it with wine and, vice versa, how can food enhance (or ruin) the subtle taste of wine?”
Thank you, again, to Talbott Vineyards and Dan (the Man) Karlsen, who spent so much of his valuable time with us at the Forno Bravo Wood-Fire Oven Expo in Salinas, California.
