Wintertime Cooking in Jeff D’s Primavera

“We love to cook outdoors at our cottage all year long, even in the winter, as these pictures show. We have created a cooking shrine (with a covered metal roof) for our BBQ and the pizza oven, so we can cook in any weather condition.

First thing, we love is the taste of the cooked food from the oven, be it pizza,  cookies, steak, etc. Secondly, the food from the oven generates engagement from our guests and family in the cooking process. Everyone gets involved – even my 3 grandkids help cut up toppings for pizza.  They then get to choose the toppings of their choice for their personal pizza. What can be better than that!”
