Wood-Fired Cheesesteak Sandwich With Parmesan and Pepperjack Sauce

Wood-Fired Cheesesteak Sandwich

Servings 4 Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

Meat and vegetables

  • 1 Green bell pepper
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 lbs Steak
  • 5 slices Provolone chese

Cheese Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup Shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Pepper Jack Cheese (optional if you don't want your sauce spicy)
  • 2 tbsp Chives (garnish)

Instructions
 

Sandwich

  • Heat up a cast iron in your Forno Bravo oven for about 1:00.
  • Cook all the veggies together.
  • Set the cooked vegetables aside.
  • Cook thinly sliced meat in the cast iron. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine the veggies with the meats.
  • Add the provolone cheese in the pan. Let them melt and then stir until incorporated.
  • Set it aside.
  • Brush some melted butter onto the hoagie bread.
  • Toast them in the oven for about 1 minute or until toasted.
  • Add the meat onto the bread.

Sauce

  • Place your skillet at the landing of your oven for low heat cooking.
  • Thoroughly incorporate the butter, parmesan, pepper jack, and heavy whipping cream.
  • Add the chives.
  • Either include this sauce into your sanwich or use it as a dip.
