The Simpson Duratech family uses thermal tech blanket insulation, encased between dual walls of stainless steel, to offer the optimum in safety and performance. The thermal tech blanket insulation keeps the outer wall of the chimney cool while ensuring high flue gas temperatures for optimum draft performance. Encased between dual walls of stainless steel, the thermal tech blanket insulation is locked into position, eliminating hot spots common with loose-fill type insulation.
Forno Bravo offers two sizes of DuraVent chimney system — 6″ for 80cm and 90cm ovens, and 8″ for 100cm, 110cm, 120cm and 140cm ovens. A typical installation includes an anchor plate, which connects directly to your Forno Bravo oven, along with one or more sections of pipe, and a spark arrestor. For more complex installations, 15º and 30% angle offsets are available.
