Turkey Trot Acres Features “Carmella” – A Wood-Fired Roma Pizza Oven

The lodge features Carmella, “The Love Oven.” It is the only brick-oven eatery in Tioga County. The oven is named for the owner’s grandmother, Mrs. Carmella Ardito. She was Italian-born and loved cooking simple, delicious Italian dishes.

They also run Apizza School which teaches the preparation of traditional Neapolitan-style pizza on their wood fired oven, and are Forno Bravo Dealers.
