The Most Connected Guy in Pizza, Our Man on the Street, Scott Wiener
Welcome back to Pizza Quest!
We’ve been on hiatus since the holiday season but are back with a brand new season. And what better way to kick it off than with our most popular recurring guest, Scott Wiener. I often refer to him as “the most connected guy in pizza,” and that is not an understatement. In addition to his legendary Scott’s Pizza Tours and his ongoing social media and video posts from pizzerias that most of us can only dream of visiting, Scott is a major presence, emcee, and judge at the International Pizza Expo and other conferences and gatherings, is a philanthropist via Slice Out Hunger, a non-profit that he helped found, and is still the Guinness record holder of the world’s largest (and ever growing) collection of pizza boxes from all around the world. As our man on the streets, Scott is also the one guy I trust most when it comes to spotting and alerting us to new trends and what we should be putting on our pizza radar screens. We’ll discuss all of this and much more in this delightful conversation with the guy I think of as (yes, choose your analogy) the Mr. Pizza, the Vin Scully, the Stephen A. Smith, the Jon Stewart, and maybe even the Oprah Winfrey of pizza, the inestimable Scott Wiener, right here on yet another new season of Pizza Quest!
