Artisan Ovens began baking artisan breads in 1996, working with slow fermentation, pre-ferments and sourdoughs to develop extraordinary breads that can never be mass produced (the skill and attention to every detail would never fit a cookie cutter operation). In 2003, we built our first brick oven and it opened up a whole new world of opportunities for not only our breads , but also pizzas.
