Pizza Talk: Stephanie Swane, Publisher of Modernist Bread and, Coming Soon, Modernist Pizza
Stephanie Swane sits atop a unique publishing empire based in Bellevue, Washington. Modernist Cuisine (https://modernistcuisine.com/ ) is responsible for some of the most innovative, disruptive culinary books of the past decade, including their landmark 50 pound, game-changing, 5-volume collection called Modernist Cuisine. It was followed, a few years later, by the equally weighty 5-vulume, Modernist Bread and, sometime soon, we expect an announcement of the publishing date for the eagerly awaited, Modernist Pizza. In between, the Modernist Cuisine publishing house has also released stand-alone books of amazing, art collector caliber photography from all their various books (you can see selections on their website), and has even opened art galleries around the country selling prints of these photographic works created by Modernist Cuisine founder, Nathan Myhrvold, and his team of photographers.
