Now it’s Your Turn to Share Your Own Quests
Welcome Back to Pizza Quest,
We’re reloading for an all new season of podcasts and conversations with a whole slew of interesting folks who are each on his or her own own quest for purpose and meaning. Sometimes it’s through pizza which is, of course, our primary metaphor, but we keep learning during these many years of posting that it’s the quest that binds us all together as kindred spirits, not the metaphor. Pizza is fun and we love it but, as we often say, it’s more about the quest than it is about the pizza. As our conversations have moved into realms of music, writing, olive oil, cheese, flour, barbecue, theology, oven building, service and healing work, it always comes back to the passion and love that our guests all have in common, that energizes them to tirelessly work at their craft even when it’s not fun. I’ve had the privilege to delve deep into the souls of our guests and to commune with them at the common depths of our various quests. Now, I’d like to invite you, our followers, to share your own journeys with our community of questers.
Here’s my proposal: send me an email with a brief (100-150 word) description of your personal quest and why you are on it. Then, I’ll invite some of you to come on the podcast where you can share your story with everyone. It doesn’t have to be about pizza (but it can be), but about whatever it is that gets your juices flowing and (another metaphor), whatever is burning in your belly.
I’d love to have some of you on the podcast in the coming year, so write to me at peter@pizzaquest.com by Sept. 2 and I’ll get back to you soon. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Peter
