The summer of 2014 is coming to a close, with vacations wrapping up and back-to-school days here. As we begin to look toward the fall season, the Forno Bravo team has quite a bit in the works for our wood-fired oven community.
One of the items we are hard at work on is our new Certified Installer Program. Read a little more about this below. We're hoping our contractor friends and oven owners can help us build out this helpful new resource.

We've included news about our Bella Outdoor Living stainless steel pizza ovens to the right. If you've been waiting for a bigger Bella oven, you're in luck!

Win a Vera Pizza Napoletana Kit for Your Recipes!
Our wood-fired oven community is brimming with creative, tasty recipes and cooking-with-fire know-how.
Whether a pizza oven newbie or an experienced chef, you are invited to share your recipes on the Forno Bravo Community Cookbook ... and earn the chance to win a Vera Pizza Napoletana kit, complete with Caputo pizza flour, San Marzano tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil from Tuscany, and Sicilian oregano on the branch ... the essentials!
How it works:
- If you want to participate in the contest, please send us an email that predates your Community Cookbook post with the recipe title: Email Us (select Contest).
- Next, visit the Community Cookbook at fornobravo.com/cookbook.
- Click the "Post your own recipe now" link in the right sidebar.
- Add your recipe/photo (no account needed).
- While you're there, take a look at other recipes from the community and rate/vote for them, by clicking on the stars at the bottom of each post.
- The author of the recipe with the most votes by October 24 will win a free Vera Pizza Napoletana kit ... to inspire even more great recipes. (The winning recipe will be based on the total number of stars with a minimum of 10 votes.)
- We'll announce the winner in the Forum and October newsletter.
On a related note: As announced in last month's newsletter, we're looking forward to delicious, approachable recipes coming soon from Chef Bart Hosmer! He has joined the Forno Bravo team and will be adding his recipes, photos, insights and 30 years of industry experience to the Community Cookbook and our social media outlets beginning in September.
New Certified Installer Program
At Forno Bravo, we want your entire wood-fired oven experience to be as enjoyable as possible – and that includes the installation! So we're very pleased to announce our new Certified Installer Program.
The objective of this new program is to provide Forno Bravo customers with quick and easy access to a qualified installation professional to design, install and/or maintain your oven.
- Professional contractors who have installed a Forno Bravo oven: Please apply for our Certified Installer Program by emailing support@fornobravo.com. Include photos if you want to brag!
- Satisfied customers: If you are pleased with the service/results, we encourage you to recommend the contractor you used for your oven installation. Simply email us at support@fornobravo.com with the contractor's information and we'll take it from there.
