Refractory oven maintenance?
My WFO is about 10 years old and has a moulded refractory cement inner construction, with unsulation and rendering on the outside.
On a regular basis I note that small, thin pieces of the refracory cement are flaking off the inside of the oven. In addition, I have noticed a couple of cracks inside the oven which are about 2mm wide and which may affect the oven performance.
Just wondering if it is posible to stop the flaking happening and if there is any way to prevent these activities happening in the future, or should I just treat this as normal behaviour?
