 Foamglas
I received my Foamglas today. One bit of advice...make sure they wrap it in plastic wrap and it gets marked fragile! Not that it made a difference with mine! The box came UPS and it looked like they dragged it behind the delivery truck's bumper from Massachusetts to Connecticut! The Foamglas blocks appear to be free of cracks but it's obvious they were not "handled with care".
The Foamglas itself is kinda' weird. I pictured it to be more solid. Perhaps solid isn't the correct word but if you run your fingernail over the edges you will see grit coming off of this. The corners and edges are not sharp edges they're kinda' rounded off on some pieces then sharper on others. Just seems a litle weird to me but these pieces will get surrounded by weirder stuff...vermicrete!
