| I got the third coarse complete with the entry arch. In hind sight, I would not recommend this approach - a ton of cuts... It does appear to be working though. If I had it to do over, I think I would set the inside arch with brick ties and go from there. My thought was to get everything locked together on the entry - I achieved that. (I need to get back in the box) You can check it out http://www.fornobravo.com/forum/photoplog/index.php?q=l Les...

| Hi Les...saw your latest pictures of vent arch and it is looking great. I am at a similar stage and wondering if you are going to a anchor plate with stainless stack and if you are how are you doing the transition between the curved vent arch and the rectangle opening for vent to the square anchor plate....wayne |

| Wayne, I found some oval flue pipe. I plan on using an angle grinder to match the curve of the arch - then it's just a matter of mortaring the puppy on there. The size is 8 x 13 inches.. If that doesn't quite cover the vent opening they have another that is 8 x 17. I'm more concerned right now on how the dome is going to tie onto the arch - can't quite visualize it in my head. As the dome grows it's getting further away from the arch - may have some UGLY cuts getting it to tie in. Les...

| Guys, I never did see it.....lets just say I did some very creative cutting. Too many double/triple compound cuts. I did a lot of trial and error cutting. I too was concerned with the ugly factor (even though no one will ever see it) and probably spent far too much time on those transition pieces. Wish I had some helpful advice, sorry. RT |

| Les, impressive work and progress. I have been filled with my own preperation, but I have got to see yours up close. There is nothing like the visual progress, and sorry I could not get out there recently. |
