 Angle meter Hi all, Just following a recommendation from a forum subscriber. I'm using this Angle Meter, borrowed from my next door neighbor (and pretty much ruined by now) to check my brick angles as I place them. I've been working without shims, except for the occasional time when I tamp the bricks down too far while setting them, then I use the shim as a wedge to boost it back up again. By this method, at least so far, I'm able to hand butter the bricks with mortar and do away with a grout bag. It works really well. I have no idea where to buy something like this. My neighbor can't remember where he bought it. Try Google???? George

| Re: Angle meter I was a carpenter for over 10 years and I never saw one of these before. Nifty gadget! Would of been handy to have for carpentry and oven building! | Re: Angle meter Just a note. I've used Starrett measuring tools for years, and they are among the best and most accurate out there. Don't have the angle gauge, though I probably should, but I do have a two foot and four foot level from them, plus a miter square, a tiny box square and some other stuff. Highly recommended. Jim
