It&#8217;s perfect for a last minute party platter if such an occasion arrises.\u00a0 Though it&#8217;s in a bag it&#8217;s still good!\u00a0 In my opinion salted\/cured pork is by it&#8217;s nature simply good.<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever seen the Simpson&#8217;s episode called &#8220;Lisa the Vegetarian&#8221;?\u00a0 Homer explains the specialness of pork here better than anyone.\u00a0 Lisa declares that she is no longer able to eat meat after a visit to a farm where she got to pet some of the little cuddly animals. [Laughing]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For the record&#8230;I am not saying anything negative here about vegetarians! Once you make it a few times following his recipe, you can start to do it on your own, just adding what feels right.\u00a0 This is so simple and tastes so fresh I really don&#8217;t see any reason to do anything else when I&#8217;m using a tomato sauce.\u00a0 When I first tried it after reading Peter&#8217;s book, &#8220;<em>American Pie: My Search for the Perfect Pizza<\/em>,&#8221; I literally thought, &#8220;This is it! This is the perfect pizza sauce.&#8221;\u00a0 Now I know perfect is not possible, but this may be an exception.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Prep and Build:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"caption alignright size-full wp-image-914\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fornobravo.com\/pizzaquest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/04\/_mg_1212.jpg\" border=\"0\" align=\"right\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fornobravo.com\/pizzaquest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/04\/_mg_1212.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.fornobravo.com\/pizzaquest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/04\/_mg_1212-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/>Build the pizza by placing the Crushed Tomato Sauce on the dough.<\/p>\n<p>I added a swirl of Olive Oil to the sauce<\/p>\n<p>Add grated Mozzarella<\/p>\n<p>Add Salami, sliced thin &#8212; your favorite kind, but Genoa is pretty hard to beat<\/p>\n<p>Place pizza into the oven.\u00a0 If you have it, switch the oven over to Convection Bake, which seems to give me a better bake.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Check the pizza in about 7 Minutes.\u00a0 When it&#8217;s done, remove it.
