But we got to the bottom of this divisive yet alluring question with our guests in this episode, <strong>Kathleen Kennedy and Scott Wiener.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong> Kathleen <\/strong>is the <em>Director of Culinary Innovation<\/em> at <strong>Marco\u2019s Pizza,<\/strong> where she leads menu development and flavor innovation for one of America\u2019s fastest-growing pizza brands\u00a0 (the last I heard Marco\u2019s was the 5th largest pizza chain in the world). With more than 40 years of experience in the food industry, Kathleen has held executive chef, product development, and consulting roles for a number of globally recognized brands including Kraft, Starbucks, and Walmart. At <em>Marco\u2019s,<\/em> she is known for driving bold, flavor-forward menu innovation, including the brand\u2019s acclaimed <em>Magnifico<\/em> lineup and <em>Fiery Flavors<\/em> offerings, while staying rooted in quality ingredients and authentic pizza craftsmanship. We\u2019ll find out more about all that in this episode.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">But I also want to welcome back our most frequent <em>Pizza Quest<\/em> guest, the legendary <strong>Scott Wiener,<\/strong> our man on the street and, frankly, he\u2019s everywhere in the pizza world. Not only is he the founder of <em>Scott\u2019s Pizza Tours<\/em> in New York City, but also the co-founder of <em>Slice Out Hunger<\/em>, host of his own television shows, owner of the <em>Guinness Book of Records<\/em> for the world\u2019s largest pizza box collection, and, really, he\u2019s the most knowledgeable guy I know about the history of pizza and, pretty much, everything else you could want to know about pizza.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Scott recently took Kathleen and her colleagues on a tour of New York\u2019s finest New York Style pizzerias as part of her project at <em>Marco\u2019s Pizza<\/em> to create an authentic New York Style Pizza for the over 1,200 Marco\u2019s pizzerias spread across the world.
