Geno DiPaolo and his daughter Gena somehow found that &#8220;secret sauce&#8221; to make it happen in Charlotte, NC, at their <em><strong>Geno D&#8217;s Pizza.<\/strong> <\/em>Geno is known as by his fans as &#8220;Geno from Jersey,&#8221; and that is part, but not all, of the magic. In this episode, Geno and Gena fill us in on what makes &#8220;Jersey pizza&#8221; so special to the many Carolinians who are now flocking to their tiny kiosk-style father\/daughter pizzeria. Geno also shares some of his techniques for Geno D&#8217;s signature <em>Grandma Pizza<\/em>, which has quickly become a crowd favorite. It&#8217;s all here on a new episode of <em>Pizza Talk on Pizza Quest. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>(Note: \u00a0FYI, as you&#8217;ve probably noticed, we&#8217; ve returned to the name <em>Pizza Quest<\/em> for this season, as <em>Pizza Talk<\/em> came into being to specifically address the challenges of the pizza community during the early days of the pandemic.
