Of course, we won&#8217;t abandon that other key word, <em>Pizza<\/em>, but many of the upcoming episodes will expand our scope, exploring our deeper missions:\u00a0<em>&#8220;A journey of self-discovery through pizza,&#8221;<\/em> and also <em>&#8220;A celebration of artisanship wherever we find it.&#8221; \u00a0<\/em>I think you&#8217;ll enjoy coming with us on these explorations, meeting a number of very interesting and inspiring people along the way.<\/p>\n<p>To kick off this new season, however, I&#8217;ve invited one of our regular contributors and <em>Pizza Yodi<\/em>, Brian Spangler (owner of <em>Apizza Scholl&#8217;s<\/em> in Portland, Oregon), to flip the script and interview this week&#8217;s guest &#8212; me! I&#8217;m here to announce the release of our long awaited book, <em>&#8220;Pizza Quest, My Never-Ending Search for the Perfect Pizza,&#8221;<\/em> and to answer Brian&#8217;s questions about the book. \u00a0Brian, by the way, is one of 30 contributors to the book, which grew out of the first two seasons of <em>Pizza Talk<\/em>, and brings the reader over 35 recipes that pay tribute to the many pizza luminaries who appeared on episodes of our show.
