It&#8217;s the one I almost always do as the first pizza when we have pizza parties; a great appetizer or starter pizza.\u00a0 It&#8217;s simply Herb Oil and some cheese &#8211; usually mozzarella and parmesan &#8212; bread (dough) with something on it (quite often cheese).\u00a0 Did I say, I love cheese?\u00a0 This herb oil is such a perfect <em>sauce,<\/em> that melds with the cheese, which melds with the dough to become one thing.\u00a0 This is different than a conventional pizza in a way &#8211; it&#8217;s more like a cheese flatbread.\u00a0I made one here pizza using Peter&#8217;s Country Dough.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_216\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-216\" class=\"caption size-full wp-image-216\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fornobravo.com\/pizzaquest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2011\/02\/img_3585.jpg\" border=\"0\" title=\"Country Dough Cheese\/Herb Oil Pizza \" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fornobravo.com\/pizzaquest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2011\/02\/img_3585.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.fornobravo.com\/pizzaquest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2011\/02\/img_3585-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-216\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Country Dough Cheese\/Herb Oil Pizza<\/p><\/div>\n<p>After taking too many photos of the second pizza I was making, I finally pulled the pizza out of the oven. \u00a0Okay, it baked a little longer than usual but, being someone who loves to go a little well done on many things, that wasn&#8217;t a problem &#8211; especially with cheese (I love it when it gets all crispy and caramelized)!\u00a0 Not to change the subject, but I have to say the Country Dough really keeps amazing me &#8211; it adds a whole other element to every pizza I&#8217;ve made with it.\u00a0 It does not take over, but adds another layer of flavor &#8211; I was actually jealous as I read about Peter traveling around the world going to all these amazing pizzerias and getting behind the scenes with the pizzaiolos!\u201d Within a few days he had contacted his friend, fellow producer, and fierce Competitive Restaurant Ordering rival, Jeff Michael.
