So, I won&#8217;t stop using!<\/p><\/div>The cherry tomatoes will become an ingredient in this pizza, but also function as the sauce. \u00a0Slice them in half and cover with Herb Oil to coat and marinade. \u00a0You can do this in advance. \u00a0For this pizza, I just laid out the tomatoes for this pizza and drizzled some olive oil and sprinkled a little dried basil over the top before baking.<\/p>\n<p>Add the grated mozz and pinches of goat cheese.<\/p>\n<p>Lay some sliced shallots around the pizza and sprinkle on the pistachios.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s it. \u00a0Into the oven.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>*An interesting thing happened to my pizza on the way to the oven&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_1349\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1349\" class=\"caption alignright size-full wp-image-1349\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fornobravo.com\/pizzaquest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2014\/02\/_mg_7249.jpg\" border=\"0\" title=\"The Pizza Steel gets fired up!  \" align=\"right\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fornobravo.com\/pizzaquest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2014\/02\/_mg_7249.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.fornobravo.com\/pizzaquest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2014\/02\/_mg_7249-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1349\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Pizza Steel gets fired up!<\/p><\/div>I pre-heated the wrong oven! \u00a0My pizza stones, steel and pizza grate are all stored in my lower oven. I accidentally pre-heated the top oven. \u00a0Uh oh! \u00a0I was sitting there with a pizza on the peel ready to go. \u00a0By the time I could get one of the stone\/steels into the upper oven and got it up to temperature, my pizza would be wet and stuck to the peel. \u00a0Besides, I didn&#8217;t have all day.<\/p>\n<p>It was then that a lightbulb went off.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11px; line-height: 1.4em;\">I took the cold <a href=\"http:\/\/bakingsteel.com\/shop\/baking-steel\/\" target=\"_blank\">Baking Steel<\/a> out of the lower oven and placed it on the stovetop. \u00a0I turned the two burners to high and it got really hot in just a few minutes. \u00a0With some hot hands, I then placed the hot steel into the hot oven and in went the pizza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This is one great reason to have a metal pizza surface around like the Pizza &#8211; Baking Steel or the new cast aluminum Pizza Grate. i love cooking on my Forno Bravo extra thick pizza stone, but these other products offer some options to play with.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_1350\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1350\" class=\"caption alignright size-full wp-image-1350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fornobravo.com\/pizzaquest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2014\/02\/_mg_7251.jpg\" border=\"0\" title=\"Thanks to the Pizza Steel, this pizza came out great! \u00a0Nicely done. \u00a0I sprinkled some chopped Italian Parsley over the top and added some of my favorite Chili Sauce from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umami.com\/shop\/800-degrees-calabrian-chiles\" target=\"_blank\">800 Degrees Pizzeria.<\/a> Delicious!
