We just received notice that one of our beloved Pizza Quest stars, Jim Ruddell, of Ruddell’s Smokehouse in Cayucos, CA, passed away. We featured Jim during our first season, and he also makes a short appearance in our highlight webisode, Pizza as Obsession, which is always found at the top of the Home Page. As Brad English reminded me, the smoked salmon fish taco he had when we filmed with…Read More…

In addition, I served, along with John Arena, as…Read More…

Interview with Joe Beddia of Pizzeria Beddia

Written By Peter Reinhart
Tuesday, 03 October 2017 Interviews

Note from Peter: I grew up in Philadelphia, a city that takes its food pretty seriously. But, in the past few…Read More…

As we share our own quest for the perfect pizza we invite all of you to join us and share your journeys too. We have discovered that you never know what engaging roads and side paths will reveal themselves on this quest, but we do know that there are many kindred spirits out there, passionate artisans, doing all sorts of amazing things.
