Hot off the press news

This just came in today and I want to let you be the first to know about it. I recently filmed a serious artisan bread making course for an internet educational company called Craftsy. Well, it's ready to roll (oops, sorry about the pun) and the best news is that those who sign up via the following link can get the whole course for 50% off (it will sell at full value for $39.99 so you can get it via the link for just $19.99). My understanding is that this special launch price will only be good for a limited period, so check it out at for the special price and a more detailed description of the course. We had fun filming it and, if it goes well, I'm hoping we'll be doing more, perhaps on pizzas -- who knows?  Anyway, check it out and feel free to pass the word and link on to others. To get the special price, though, you have to use the full url above.

If any of you do sign up, let me know what you think -- this is a whole new educational platform and concept and they have lots of other courses, such as cheese making, baking with chocolate, cake decorating, and crafts of all kinds. It's very exciting -- can't wait to hear what you think of it.

Just signed up! I have both your bread making books and your pizza book and love them all. Looking forward to the courses. If you are considering another course, it would be nice to have a section on laminated doughs.

Hi Elsie, Craftsy is actually doing such a class on laminated doughs, though not by me but a baker from the west coast. I'm guessing it will be out before the end of summer. Keep checking their website or, since you signed up, you'll probably get an announcement.

I signed up for this class yesterday. Over the years I have taken many classes online and this is definitely one of the very best! I will certainly be looking for any other classes you offer and hopefully one of them will be for pizza.

Thanks Joan! I agree, a pizza course would be a fun one to create. Let Craftsy know of your interest -- it could get them thinking....

Started to class over the weekend and hope to begin baking in a few days. I really appreciate the opportunity to actually see the dough in motion - it conveys so much more than static pictures or words.

Peter I must be late to the party again! I saw the link to the class via the Forno Bravo newsletter, clicked on the link and it is showing full price. I've been looking for an online bread-making class and hoping I can get the special price.

Tyler, Write directly to Craftsy at and tell them what happened and how you read about the class on my website. Ask them if you can get that intro price -- I'm hoping they'll say yes. I thought they'd keep it going a little longer than this so I'll check on it also from my end. Let me know how it resolves.

Thanks, Peter. I contacted Craftsy and they helped me clear the cache on my web browser, which updated the discount price, so the offer is still open. Looking forward to digesting some great baking info!

Thanks for any other informative site. Where else could I am getting that kind of information written in
such an ideal means? I have a challenge that I am simply now operating on, and I have been on the
look out for such info.

Did you develop this website yourself? Please reply back as I'm wanting to create my own website and want to know where you got this from or what the theme is named.
