Coming Attractions, Week of February 7th

During the week of February 7th, look for the following new posts: --A new Instructional Video, filmed at The Fire Within Conference in Boulder. This one features a change of pace: a S'mores Pizza (yes, you read that correctly); a whimsical take on everyone's favorite camp fire treat. You'll love this one, which will post on Thursday!
--A new Peter's Blog, as always, posting on Tuesday.
--An herb oil recipe from Peter to use for focaccia or for marinating topping ingredients or even for just as a bread dip, posting Wednesday.
--The first of a two part Guest Column from Jenn Burns, who recently returned from Costa Rico where she worked on an organic coffee farm, picking beans (actually called coffee cherries) on dangerously steep vertical inclines, and learning some important life lessons. This will post on Friday.

During the week of January 31st, look for the following new postings:
--On Thursday we'll return to Pizzeria Mozza for another Webisode segment to see how that wonderful LaBrea Bakery dough gets transformed into gorgeous pizzas by Pizzaiolo Matt Molina, under the guidance of Nancy Silverton.
--On Peter's Blog, posting on Tuesday, some news about the growing number of wood-fired caterers and how you can track them down for your own events.
--On Friday, a Guest Column from Michael Hanson, an artisan baker from the United Kingdom, who ponders the meaning of it all.
--A new pictorial from Brad English on making freshly pulled mozzarella balls at home, posting Wednesday.
--A new recipe from Peter on making herb oil for toppings.
--And, of course, your Comments and discussion.

Week Four is now in session, so here's a preview of what's coming during Week Five, beginning January 17th:
--More from Pizzeria Mozza--this time a trip to LaBrea Bakery to see where and how the Mozza dough is made. You'll love the big mixers and how this unique dough comes together. This is the third in our seven-part Pizzeria Mozza series.
--Part Two of John Arena's Guest Column on Pizza as Artistic Self Expression. He focuses on three of his favorite pizzaiolos, Chris Bianco (Phoenix), Jonathan Goldsmith (Spacca Napoli, Chicago), and Anthony Mangieri (Una Pizza Napooletana, now in SF, formerly in Greenwich Village).
--Another recipe to add add to your "fundamentals" collection.
--More from me in Peter's Blog.
--And, as always, a stream of pizza news in the News section.

Happy New Year!!
This week (Jan. 3-8), we will be posting all new material and will also begin posting all items on a regular schedule.
Monday will be Coming Attractions day.
Tuesday will be Peter's Blog day.
Wednesday will be Gallery Day or New Recipe Day (we'll alternate).
Thursday will be New Video Day (this will be either a Webisode or an Instructional, on an alternating basis).
Friday will be Guest Column Day as well any other new news.
So, to get specific, this week we'll be posting some Gallery photos from our visit to Pizzeria Mozza on Wednesday, and on Thursday we will continue with the Pizzeria Mozza webisode episodes--this will be the second of seven Mozza episodes, and in this one you will meet Executive Chef and head pizzaiolo Matt Molina. who will tell us a little about life in Mozza world. On Friday, we have a guest column from Joseph Pergolizzi, the founder of The Fire Within.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!
Just want to let you know we'll be back with all new videos and features on Wednesday, December 29th, featuring the first of four webisode segments about Pizzeria Mozza in Los Angeles, a new Instructional video filmed at Boulder's hot new restaurant, Pizzeria Basta, and a guest column by world pizza champion Tony Gemignani. Thanks for your tremendous support during our launch week, and feel free to add your comments at the various sections of the site--they've been really helpful so far.
