Lots of new stuff this week, beginning with a delayed Peter's Blog, direct from our next webisode filming session, taking place in a "secret" location this week. I'll post my report on Thursday, instead of on my usual Tuesday, so that I can bring you an up to the minute report. We're pretty jazzed about it, though.
On Tuesday, instead, we'll post another great home recipe photo spread from Brad, this time documenting his adventures in making a spicy pork sausage pizza following the template of the Buonchristiani Lamb pizza we featured a few months back. It's pretty spectacular and should give you all some ideas for how to use one pizza concept to springboard into another. I hope some of you who are following along are having as much fun with these recipes as Brad is; he's been pretty unstoppable the past few weeks and keeps coming up with more and more great dishes every week.
On Thursday, in addition to my Blog, we'll post the next webisode in the Cass House Inn series; this time Chef Jensen and I do a little jamming and create a mulberry pizza with balsamic glaze as we test-drive his brand new wood-fired oven in Cayucos. It's a sweet pizza and a sweet video, so don't miss it.
On Friday we hope to post a new Guest Column, which is still in editing. Assuming we get all the pieces, we'll post it then, or as soon as it's ready.
Okay, I'm headed out for the next quest; will tell you all about it later this week....

Lots of new things coming your way this week, including the launch of our new Cass House Inn webisode series, filmed in Cayucos, California, posting on Thursday. Prior to that we'll have a Cayucos intro and photo gallery from Brad on Wednesday, and a recipe from me on Friday for how to make pizza dough from that amazing sprouted wheat flour I've been writing about the last few weeks (info on how to order some for yourself was posted last week). And, of course, another Peter's Blog on Tuesday -- I'm still ruminating on the topic but have been thinking a lot about that hilarious John Stewart video on YouTube about the recent weird pizza quest of Donald Trump and Sarah Palin. If you haven't seen it, go to YouTube and look it up ASAP -- it's gotten a lot of hits and is a riot!
Also, for those who don't know, we have our own PizzaQuest YouTube channel where all our posted videos live beside here on our site. In fact, we'd love for you to forward them to anyone who you think might be interested. Our viewership numbers keep growing, thanks to all of your word of mouth sharing. Thanks so much!
Back on Tuesday with a new Peter's Blog. Till then, may your pizzas all be perfect.....

Hi Again,
It's feeling like summer, so this week we'll be taking you with us, as we resume our webisodes series, to the breezy coastal town of Cayucos, on the Central Coast of California, for a visit to the Cass House Inn, with Chef Jensen Lorenzen and his wife Grace. Aside from their commitment to sustainable farm to table practices, they have a beautiful wood-fired oven and we decided to collaborate with him to create some impromptu pizzas, as you will see during the full run of the series, which kicks off on Thursday.
I'll back on Tuesday with a new Peter's Blog with some news about how to get your hands on some of that great sprouted wheat flour as well as some of that central Milling --00-- (Double Zero) Flour.
We'll also be posting another round of Brad's never-ending experiments in search of the perfect home baked pizza. This time, as a sneak preview of the Cass House webisode pizzas, he'll share his home made version based on Jensen's inventive Mulberry pizza. More on this on Wednesday, when it posts.
So keep checking in -- there's always something new on Pizza Quest!
Peter

Hi Everyone,
This week we're taking a short video break as we prepare to launch a new webisode series next week filmed in California's Central Coast. However, we have a new Brad English recipe pictorial to share with you, as he shows us how he celebrated Mother's Day with his family in a Pizza Quest sort of way. Some fun recipes and photos from our resident "If I can do it so can you" guy. This will post on Wednesday.
In fact, to make it officially Brad English week, we'll also be posting on Friday a first time Guest Column from Brad, a food memory, family friendly piece based on his recent trip to Vancouver. Suddenly, Brad has turned into Marcel Proust. Go figure.....
And I'll be back on Tuesday with another Peter's Blog about some new trends in the world of artisan foods.
Have a wonderful Memorial Day and remember all those who gave their lives so that we might have the freedom to follow our own dreams.
Peter

Hi Everyone,
Another great week coming up on PQOL (Pizza Quest Online) aka PizzaQuest.com. On Tuesday I'll be posting my weekly Peter's Blog and fill you on the latest developments with my upcoming book.
On Thursday, we'll be posting the final installment in our Gastro District series from San Francisco, where we ended up upstairs from Tartine Bakery and Eric Wolfinger made us a pizza in his apartment oven on Tartine's fabulous Country French dough.
And on Friday, we welcome back Michael Hanson, our favorite "Sacred Baker," who shares his own pizza quest in search of the perfect pie. A very interesting journey indeed....
And your comments are coming in on the various postings--we love to hear from you so keep them coming!
