Calore Installation: Fireplace Stand

Using concrete blocks and mortar, build a stand to set the fireplace to the height you want. Your design options are completely open regarding your fireplace height, hearth depth and wood storage.

The rear of the Calore Outdoor Fireplace has air intake holes in the back of the fireplace, which improve its thermal efficiency. Allow for an air intake hole, at least 4’x4’, either in the block stand or the enclosure walls, which connects the back of the fireplace to the outside.

You are ready to Assemble the Fireplace.

Hints and Tips
Dry stack your blocks, then fill every other core with concrete and rebar. This approach will save you time and energy compared with mortaring each block in place.
