Calore Installation: Attach the Chimney

Using fireplace chalk and concrete screws, attach a chimney anchor plate for the Calore Fireplace vent. Attach the steel chimney and spark arrestor according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Hints and Tips
We recommend the DuraTech UL103 system from Simpson DuraVent. It is a UL103 listed, double wall stainless steel chimney system approved for solid fuel appliances. We stock it in the Forno Bravo Store.

Try burning a single sheet of newspaper to ensure that the chimney and vent have made a good seal, and that there are not places where smoke can escape.
