Default Oven Door

I just had the Oven Door fabricated. Started out with just handles, then added the foot cause the door fell down and broke two bricks. Still fine tuning it. Also made the ash scraper from just some scrape metal and a peice of 10mm rebar.

Thumbs up Re: Oven Door

Gee, you certainly have a heavy durable door there!
I would hope that you intend insulating it well as it will draw out a huge amount of the heat that you put into the oven. I guess the handles also get pretty hot, maybe an insulated handle would help.

Default Re: Oven Door

Right now it's just to plug the entry. I haven't even used it, but yes the handles will get hot. just going to use pot holders for now.
