| I have forgotten how nasty this stuff is to work with. Things will sit now for a bit before I get on to the river rock treatment. Next to eating some pizza this river rock part of the project is what I have looking forward to the most. Shopping for the fancy pizza flour now and will try and scare up a pizza peel on a trip in to Vancouver next week. My next posting should be of some wood fired cooked food ....wayne

| Excellent work!!! On my oven I used swimming pool coping as the hearth entry and it is really hard to keep clean. I love the look of your slate and would like to try that if it is hard enough wearing. Can you keep us informed of how it performs? Cheers Dave |

| Thanks Dave. Yes I will keep you informed but I am pretty sure It will be just fine. I put in a slate floor in our last home. 4oo sq feet and it seemed indestructable. Heavy traffic area as well. ...wayne
