Default Outer vermiculite treatment now out of the way

I have forgotten how nasty this stuff is to work with. Things will sit now for a bit before I get on to the river rock treatment. Next to eating some pizza this river rock part of the project is what I have looking forward to the most. Shopping for the fancy pizza flour now and will try and scare up a pizza peel on a trip in to Vancouver next week. My next posting should be of some wood fired cooked food ....wayne

Excellent work!!!

On my oven I used swimming pool coping as the hearth entry and it is really hard to keep clean. I love the look of your slate and would like to try that if it is hard enough wearing. Can you keep us informed of how it performs?

Cheers

Dave

Thanks Dave. Yes I will keep you informed but I am pretty sure It will be just fine. I put in a slate floor in our last home. 4oo sq feet and it seemed indestructable. Heavy traffic area as well. ...wayne
