| Hey all, hoping someone can help me. I bought myself a portable refractory pizza oven a couple of years ago. It has worked perfectly for years without issue. I've now installed a pergola and outdoor kitchen and moved it under cover and is a perfect feature for the new outdoor area. My question is around how to install a flue for it. When i got it it came with a small 900mm high flue with cowl, my new roof however is 1.8 mm from the top of the wood oven. Im wondering what people have used for their flue? Can i just get a piece of rolled up stainless steel and throw the cowl on the top? Or do i need to look at a double skinned flue kit? I have been told that as its a wood oven it will get super hot and it will more than likely burn the galvanizing off the roof sheeting, is that true? |

| I really doubt the flue will be hot enough at 1.8M to burn the gal. You can get a double skin adapter where it goes through the roof anyway, and it will make it easier to flash to stop water.
