Default Design idea for Pompei oven, Pantheon Rome

Go on google images search on Pantheon, Rome to catch my drift. Its potentially just a big pizza oven.

Thought you could have pull out columns to reveal the oven door

Get your white marble and chisels ready! I think having your soldier course set with niches with Catholic saints in them would be a particularly nice touch.

Don't fall into the error of venting at the top of the dome, though.

Since we're on the subject of dome geekery, the book "Brunelleschi's Dome" is the utterly amazing story of building Santa Maria del Fiore, aka, the Duomo in Florence, Italy circa 1430. It was and still is the largest self-supporting dome, 142 feet in diameter. Probably one of my most favorite books ever.
Makes building a WFO look like legos.
