Default Best place to measure temperature

I want to install a thermo couple inside my oven . to measure the temp . but was wondering were would be the best place to get a good guide of the temp inside . weather it be at the top peek or to the side or just to the side by doorway. etc .. does any one have an idea of the temperatures are at different places within the oven ?

The floor is what matters. Put it 3/8" deep at the centerpoint of the floor of the oven.
