Default worried about lined up joints

okay, we are admitting to a stupid mistake and have a few lined up joints in our dome....how serious is this??? Should we bite the bullet and break out some bricks we are using heatstop 50 for the mortar (if that matters) and are planning on coating the outside of the dome with it before using kaowool blankets.
please help! we are down to the last 3 rows and have found a few places in the lower rows where our joints line up sometimes 3 over each other (stupid, stupid, stupid!!!)
embarressingly mortified.......

Hi,

You are bound to line up joints as the number of bricks decreases up the dome. A line up of 3 joints is more rare, but not unusual. I would not worry about it.

Since there are a variable number of bricks on each course, a few running joints are inevitable. I'd try to avoid having three lined up, though.
