| What kind of mortar should I use for the decorative arch? I assume that I don't need to use refractory mortar. It looks like there are different types of standard brick mortar, and I was wondering which I should use. My intended end result is to look something like TheBadger's arch: PhotoPlog - Insulation Thank you, Stephen |

| Stephen, this might be a little late, but many people have succesfully used standard Type S mortar for the decorative arch.
