| 7 am tomorrow. 350 square feet or so to be filled with "Dakota Clay" dyed concrete, 4" thick, stamped with a granite pattern. The gray curvy things in the front are the steps up to the patio. I'll have to build a retaining wall along the left, CMU with stone veneer. WFO will go in the back left corner. Tentative finish date - sometime late next summer. |

| Finish? Not yet... but I'm in my second day of curing fires right now! D***, there's alot of water in those bricks and vermicrete! I'm hoping to bake some bread later today. Here's what it looked like a few days ago, before I finished the arch and got the vermicrete insulation cladding on it. I've still got a lot of work to do - I've got to finish the CMU sides, do a roof, and then plan on facing the entire thing with stone veneer to match the house. |
