Thermometer Location

I have been neglecting my oven build project with the Holidays, visitors, some rain ( a little bit) and the presence of some of the best surf So. Calif has seen in a couple of years. It is time to get back to it.

I received an FB remote thermometer for Christmas. Any consensus as to the best location to mount the probe: oven floor, top of dome, mid dome?
