| is wire mesh needed beneath the rebar for the structural slab? i know i used wire mesh in the base pad but the instructions do not call for it here. any opinions?????? thanks rino |

| Rino... You do not need wire mesh in the structural slab. Install the rebar (size and spacing) per the Pompeii plan and your oven will work fine. JED |

| We've seen people use the big sidewalk style welded grid instead of rebar. No need for both.
