| Gang, I took off my 1 inch FB blanket after 5 small curing fires. I do have some small cracks but not as bad as I expected for some reason - hairline to 1/16th wide. Question. Should I grind out a little and use some HS or should I use the tube of black fireplace goo I got from Lowes??? Thanks Dick |

| If they're small cracks I think I'd leve them as they are. At least until after you've finished curing and lit some really big scary fires in the oven - thats the time to take stock and decide if your cracks need filling or not.
