refractory mix ratio

I have managed to source a supply of aluminium oxide and would like to mix up my own refractory mix as the stuff here in newzealand is a nasty price.I know the makeup is mostly alumina,sand and lime but im not sure on the ratio or if anything else is needed.any ideas?
