Default "Re Curing" after Perlcret

Gang,

I built about 5 small fires over 5 days (300 then gradually to 450).
I took off my 1 inch FB blanket and fixed a few small cracks.

I put on 2" of FB blanket (3" on apex) and covered with 3-4" of perlcrete.

Question
I know you are supposed to wait a week but since I cured a little and have 2" of blanket could I start some more low fires around 300-450 now?
My thought is the 2" of blanket would keep in most of the heat in and I could continue to drive out moisture.

Don't want to rush but I am hoping to have an "open oven" party (like an open house ) on July 4th.

Let me know.

Thanks
Dick

Dick, Can you time it so your last curing fire is the open oven day party and work back from that date?

Leave it as long as possible that way....what's worse case, more crack repair?

I'd still keep it wet/moist as long as you can as it's curing portland.
