 Leaving the Plywood sorry to ask again. But has anyone built the insulating hearth and left the plywood there? is there a chance the plywood could catch fire? Thx      |

| Plywood I would most definitely remove the plywood. The insulating layer insulates, sure, but it does get hot enough to melt the glue in plywood and will probably ignite the first time you get really frisky with your fire. Jim |
