 indispensable tool Where can I purchase the "indispensable tool" to help align each firebrick within its course?  |

| Re: indispensable tool I made my ID tool out of an old hing and yard stick. Just find the center of you oven take 1/2 the diameter of you circle for you radius. I made my oven 42 inches wide and 21 inches high. If you want a Guide for the angle of the bricks add 4 1/2 inches past the radius of the circle on your stick. If you are doing a low dome you may need to adjust the height of your dome to a lower height. If you have the ability make your ID tool out of metal, I made mine out of wood and it warped after a few days of being wet. |

| Re: indispensable tool I just built mine out of wood. Thanks for the tip. I will definately seal (paint) mine before I start. Maybe that will guard against warping. |
