| My brick dealer is placing an order and can add some castable material from the manufacturer on the order. My question is what castable should I buy for my vent... Needs to hold 8-9 feet of duravent Will have to cure in place I was thinking of the following: KS-4 Plus PacoCast Heat Cast - 40 (same company that makes Heat Stop) Fast replies would be appreciated... Thanks Dick |

| I used KS-4, cast in place, and cured in place. KS-4 is very solid and easy to work with. No problems. I would not only use it again, but would proabably cast my entry and event in one piece if I were to do another one. Don't forget the stainless needles. I posted a couple of picts a while ago. Search vent casting and you should find them.
