I built a pompeii oven with a 48 inch interior diameter using the FB plans. I'm venting with clay pipe from the mouth of the oven to the top of the dome. I need to run the flue up 2 floors. Any recommendations on what diameter flue and clay pipe I need? Sincerely, Buix5

Hey Buix5, have you had a look at Dmun's build: http://www.fornobravo.com/forum/f9/d...t-ii-1876.html (dmun's 36" geodesic oven part II) It's a smaller oven, but has a tall chimney like you describe, also a meticulously documented build. Lots of good info. Doug

I have a 40" Pompeii with an 8" round steel flue 10' high and it draws a treat with absolutely no smoke out the front arch. I would play it safe and run either an 8" square or preferable 10" round stainless flue if I was to install one. Cheers. Rastys
