Default Damian's 42" Pompeii

Started the first couple of curing fires. Beginning to take shape. Can't wait to get cooking in it after all that hard work!

Thanks for that. The extra counter space at the front and sides should be well able to hold the drinks etc and hopefully turn out to be a good meeting place while food is cooking.

I was lucky enough to buy firebrick that was already angled and used this for the arch and chimney. The chimney pot was lying in the back garden when we moved into the house. I'm only getting around to putting a pizza oven below it!
