Here are the initial stages of my 42" pompei oven project for your perusal. Firstly the oven will become part of what my wife calls the day bed room for the pool area. This involved an elevated slab which housed all necessary plumbing, drainage and electricals to run a toilet, shower, vanity and at this stage a kitchen sink and cupboards. The extra steel beams that are visible in the pic are an after thought to carry the mass of the oven since it was not part of the original plan. More to come Cheers Ian

Here is a pic of my insulated door I finished today. Not to sure if it will be the final unit but it will do for now. http://www.fornobravo.com/forum/memb...lated-door.jpg Seems like I have managed to post a pic of sorts.

The door is insulated with kaowool and fully sealed. My wife rolled her eyes when she saw one of my old dirt bike sprockets welded to it but that is all I could find at short notice and I thought it looked cooool anyway. My build is different to most because I tried to utilise the skills that I have as a metal fabricator (boilermaker). The stand is made up of steel I had lying around but the dome is down to this forum which has made it possible. I would like to once again thank all who have contributed to this forum for making this an easy process. Cheers Ian
