Default Arch Height?

How do you determine the height for my arched oven opening? 47"ID & 21" inside dome height?

63% of 21" =13.25"

Its the golden ration, golden mean, Fibonacci ratio.

I made my dome height to suit an opening height I wanted.

Default Re: Arch Height?

By proven formula: Door height would be 21" x 63% (ideal) 13.23"

By experience: Since 19"-20" door width is called for in the Forno Bravo plans for a 42" Pompeii, figure a 47" oven (111% of 42") door width (20" x 111%) could be as wide as 22.20".

For an expert second opinion consult with 48" Pompeii master Doug (Karangi Dude).
